Terms of Use

By installing or using OneOne, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. You must be 18 or over

OneOne is an adults-only service. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that it is lawful for you to use a service of this kind where you live. We may suspend or terminate any account we believe belongs to a minor.

2. What OneOne is

OneOne lets you chat with AI companions — fictional characters powered by large language models. Every character, personality, photo and message is generated or curated content.

OneOne is entertainment. It is not a mental-health service and is not a substitute for professional help or human relationships. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.

3. Your account

An anonymous account is created for you on first launch. You are responsible for the device it lives on. You may optionally link your Telegram account so that one balance and one conversation history follow you across both; when you do, the linked accounts are treated as one identity.

You may delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.

4. Virtual currency

• The app uses a virtual currency (“crystals”) to unlock certain features and content.
• Crystals are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use a feature of the service. They are not money, hold no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another person.
• Crystals can be obtained free of charge, including by watching optional rewarded ads, and may also be purchased where purchasing is available.
• Purchases are final except where a refund is required by law or by the rules of the platform you bought through. Refund requests for purchases made through a platform must go to that platform.
• Unused crystals expire when your account is deleted or terminated, and we may discontinue or change the virtual-currency system with reasonable notice.

5. Rewarded ads

You may choose to watch a video ad in exchange for crystals. Watching ads is always optional. Rewards are credited only for ads that are genuinely delivered and completed, as confirmed by our advertising partners. Attempting to obtain rewards through emulation, automation, tampering, or any other manipulation is a breach of these terms and may result in loss of balance and termination of your account.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use OneOne to:

• Create, request, or attempt to elicit any content that sexualises minors, or that depicts a character as a minor in a sexual context. This is prohibited absolutely, without exception, and we report such activity to the relevant authorities.
• Request or generate content depicting real, identifiable people without their consent, or content that impersonates a real person.
• Request or generate content that promotes violence, terrorism, human trafficking, self-harm, or any other serious crime.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or infringe the rights of anyone.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, age checks, or security controls.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its content without our written permission.
• Use automated systems, bots, or multiple accounts to abuse free allowances, promotions, or rewarded ads.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where we believe these rules have been broken.

7. Content and intellectual property

The service, its characters, artwork, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

You keep whatever rights you already have in the content you send. By sending content you grant us a licence to store, process, and transmit it as needed to operate the service — including sending it to the AI providers who generate replies, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features, characters, pricing, free allowances, and content may change or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend the service for maintenance.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 50.

10. Termination

You may stop using OneOne and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 7, 9, and 11 — continue to apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of OneOne is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your own country of residence.
